INSERT CATCHY TITLE HERE

Lately, I haven't been able to come up with any clever or catchy titles for my posts (as this latest effort demonstrates), so I haven't been posting as much as I'd like ( I know, cheesy excuse, uh?).However, I felt the writing itch today, so I had to scratch it. This being Saturday, I did what I usually do, which is riding my bike. I've been going with the group from the bike shop where I bought my bike, but today I went with another group (actually, the 'rivals' of my bike shop group) because they did a ride up in the mountains right by my house. There were some other people from my usual group, cyclists are a weird bunch, some of them go where the most pain is being inflicted, and I'm one of them. Anyway, the ride was not too long for me, about 20+ miles, but it was all uphill with a gain in altitude of about 4,000 feet. The group was made up of mostly guys, there was just another lady besides me and the gal driving the SAG vehicle (support and gear).

It was a very nice ride, the weather was nice, not too hot nor too cold, but mostly not windy, which I hate with a purple passion. Some of the guys were younger and some older than me, but there's always
a camaraderie that develops when people suffer together, so we all became good friends quickly. After 2.5 not so fun hours we reached the top and finally rode downhill 3 miles to get to town. My husband met me up there cause we all went out to lunch. It was fun and tiring, but I plan on doing more of these
because apparently I have quite a few issues, one of which is choosing really lousy post titles!

  1. Wow! I'm impressed! Biking, and uphill, no less! I'm tired thinking about it!

  2. I just got a new bike and have been riding it nonstop ever since the weather's gotten nicer. And count me in on that 'most pain inflicted' thing. It's a wonderfully terrible feeling.

  3. I really like this title. Your giving me a major biking guilt trip, though.

  4. I can't even remember the last time I rode a bike.
When I can't think of a title I start it off with The One About. I figure if the show Friends could name their show titles that way, I could to.

  5. Hey, we're biking in the Hodgepodge this week : ) Good for you getting up the hills...I find the downhill part scarier than the up!

  6. I wouldn't worry about titles. Keep writing posts that people enjoy reading.
