A GREAT CHRISTMAS STORY

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, chihuahuas, big mutts and furry cats were roaming around. Ok, that's all I have, I;m not much of a poet I guess. Anyway, I had a great Christmas and I'm very happy about it. For Christmas eve I went to dinner at my friend's house, but my husband was not invited, due to the events of this past month. I was quite disappointed because we made up and are committed to work things out, and I think she should have invited him too because he didn't do anything to her and this being Christmas, it would have been the right thing to do. At any rate, it was her house, so I respected her wishes, but I didn't stay long cause I wanted to get home to my family.

When I got home we opened the presents, and I got some nice sweatshirts/beachy tops and a very nice watch. To sweeten the pot, I also got some greenbacks, which I'm sure I will put to good use. I also gave some pretty spiffy gifts myself, then we toasted and went to bed, amid the dogs and cats. Today, we're going out to eat with a friend of mine, then we'll probably come back home to watch some tv and relax.

I don't know what we'll do these next few days, but I'm waiting for New Year's eve, when we'll go to Vegas to watch the fireworks and play a little poker. What about you? How did you spend the day? IN case you were wondering what Santa is up to now, after a long night's work, here he is, complete with tired elves......

Santa Paws and the elves..

Santa Paws is very tired (and so is the cat behind him..)

  5. My wife is in love with your "elves." I have one chihuahua, or I should say my wife has a chihuahua so I inherited one by marriage, and she loves dressing him up. Sigh.

Anyhow, I'm glad to hear your Christmas went well, even if the hubby wasn't there.
