In other news, we went to the movies yesterday, to see 'Broken City', with Russell Crowe and Mark Wahlberg. The movie was quite good, but obviously I went to see husbands # 2 and #3, they didn't disappoint as usual. I do recommend it if you like turns and twists in the plot, lots of scenery of NYC, Catherine Zeta-Jones and the best thing to come out of Australia since Crocodile Dundee.
Now that things appear to be going back to normal (whatever normal is...), I have resumed my triathlon training. Actually, I'm trying to resume the training, this stupid weather is not cooperating at all. It has been raining/wet for three days now. I didn't move to the desert to have it rained on and wet. I really didn't want to move to the desert, but I digress, so until the weather improves I won't be able to go riding. That's too bad, I even bought a whole bunch of EPO and stuff.....
Disclaimer: NO, I didn't buy any EPO, steroids, didn't give myself any blood transfusions etc. I'm just very unhappy to find out that Lance not only doped, but went about destroying anybody who tried to challenge him on it. That is not what an honorable man does, for cancer or anything else. The end does not justify the means, in almost all cases. At least that's my take, what's yours?
I'm glad to hear that you won't be in limbo for much longer. I'd ask what the whole thing was about. You have the right to know the reason and the findings.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ruth, you have every right to know the reasons for what happened. But no matter what happens, you should take the high road and play nice. It sucks, but probably for the best.
ReplyDeleteI was sent home "to rest" with full pay years ago. It was a mini vacation, really. I returned to work and all went well. Amazing what a little time off can do for ya.
